FinExpertiza and Cyprus Minister of Finance discuss the conditions of growth of cooperation between Cyprus and Russia
During the meeting between the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus Harris Georgiades, the Managing Partner of FinExpertiza Global Nina Kozlova, and the Managing Partner of FinExpertiza Cyprus Michael Hadjihannas, held on 23rd of February 2017, the Minister confirmed the intention to extend cooperation with Russia.
“Cyprus is a stable and safe jurisdiction with a predictable tax regime. In order to increase the investment flow which has declined during the crisis in 2015, Cyprus Government reduced taxes for companies, individuals as well as for the real-estate transactions. We hope that our cooperation with Russia will grow further”, Harris Georgiades has said.
The progress of implementation of the latest standards for the exchange of information with tax authorities of multiple countries was further discussed and the Minister also showed interest in the conditions of doing business in Russia.
