Double Tax Treaty negotiations between Cyprus and Kyrgyzstan

Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus has confirmed that the negotiations between Cyprus and Kyrgyzstan over a Double Tax Treaty (DTT) between the two countries have been concluded successfully, focusing on taxes on income and the prevention of tax evasion and tax avoidance.

As stated by the Ministry of Finance, the signing (expected at a later stage) and ratification of the Treaty will replace the DTT between Cyprus and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics which has been in effect since 1983 and was in force in relation to Kyrgyzstan.
